Soehnle has so many beautiful designs it is hard to choose.I wanted something that looks great sitting out on my bathroom floor, and I wanted something thin. This scale is only 0.7" thick. It is a great looking, very accurate and well priced scale. It does not slide around, so it is very stable even though it is thin. All other scales that I've owned were destroyed because of water or cracking, but this one is solid and so well designed that it cannot crack and fall apart and cannot be damaged by a few drops of water. I'm thrilled that I chose such a good one this time around and expect that it will last many years.
